2009 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Fuji White

Tuffy Box on Puma

Has anybody fitted a 12"wide Tuffy box on a Puma 110? Does it interfere with the hi/lo shifter?

Have not fitted a Tuffy box to our Puma.

At 12" wide that does not give you a lot of clearance for the seatbelt. Approx distance between seat belts in our Puma is about 12.5 inches.

At 24" long including cup holder it is too long. It will interfere with high/low shift AND project into rear seat area.

Our cubby box is 10" wide and 19" long at the base. We had to get id of the cup holder. At 19" it just does not interfere with high/low shift and just does not project into rear seat area.

I think another choice of cubby box will be in order.

I know of one firm making a shorter cubby box in the UK for a Puma. I think they have done away with the front radio console as well.

Tuffry makes a 10"wide without the radio console. Maybe that one will fit.
I have a 12"W on the Td5 and seems to work fine.

2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Alpine White

We have a Mobile Storage Systems one in our Puma. Mounted it slightly further back than designed and did not fit cup holder - only the tray. Radio mount retained. Occasionally catch the radio cover with hand when open, but not a problem.

2013 Defender 130 Puma 2.2 SW Rimini Red

As above in the grey 130 but got a Loc Box for the blue one. The Loc Box is designed for the Puma. 130's have feeling's as well you know
