Re registering a Series 3
Hello All, I rebuilt my 1971 series 3 twenty odd years ago but never got around to getting it on the road.
It looks like I need to register it as the Dvla no longer have a record of it.
I have the original log book and have downloaded the re registering and rebuilt vehicle docs from the Dvla.
It looks like it may need to be viewed by a relevant club however the only two they list are for series one and series two.
Has anyone on here had to do similar ?

The only major changes on the rebuild were a new chassis and a later 2.5na diesel engine.
Thanks in advance Andy

Your 1971 SIII is very early and I believe the SII CLub will do a vehicle inspection for that vehicle - for a fee.

Join the S2C forum and ask, maybe?

They have a number of regional inspectors.

The DVLA accept what the S2C say, so if it passes their inspection you should be OK.

Update 20 odd years off the road, spent a few weekends replacing seized wheel and clutch cylinders sorted out a jammed throttle.
Now road legal

and as I pulled out on the road a lovely restored Wolf and 2020 defender stopped to let me out.
