It did it again just now. I came back to the site no private browsing enabled.
Had to click log in, it had the details saved but had to toggle on remember details and press sign in.
This is on Chrome on latest iOS mobile.
I’ll have to clear all cookies and history log in again and see if it does it again.

A bit strange, could even be the browser who knows. Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

Mobile site is awesome. It’s actually better than the desktop in my opinion.

Uploading and posting pictures are about the same, but seeing active topics and active threads pushes it over the top. Roaming around 🇳🇴🇨🇭

when viewing the mobile site in landscape on an iPhone (with a notch) some of the page (left hand side normally due to how I hold the phone) is obscured, there is something called safe areas

https://webkit.org/blog/7929/designing-websites-for-iphone-x/

is there anychance the mobile site can be amended to include this? (only affects landscape) Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details

Hi @Martin
I‘m still having the above font size issue on mobile Safari. Any chance of changing this? Would be much appreciated by a pair of eyes getting older Wink

Insert Fork TD5
Hello from France, sorry in advance for my very poor English!
My question is relatively simple, but I need English experts.
I redid my defender TD5 from 2005 completely engine seals, chassis, improvement of many parts, transfer box.
6 months of work always a new problem
My question relates to the clutch in particular the fork.
I changed the complete clutch to Loft Clutch (stop, fork, single-mass clutch)
I do not know if I put or not the part 571161 which is a fork insert.
To avoid metal against metal.
I'm really lazy to reassemble the gearbox...
I have already done 6000 km.
Many experts told me no worries.
I'm waiting impatiently for your answer

Is there a button somewhere on the mobile site to "mark all messages read"?
TIA

90 td5
Hi Martin,

Apologies if I have broken any rules?
I joined at the weekend after being a guest observer to the site for many years. I responded to two wanted ads with details of my 90 td5. I was a bit surprised to get 4-5 extra enquiries and just, maybe naively replied. I have not heard anything back for several days. I wonder if I have broken a rule and should have advertised in the for sale section?
All the best, Stewart.

Stewart, you registered and straight away posted up your Defender for sale in reply to wanted posts. This breaks the site's selling rules. You must be an established member to sell, or have bought an ad through the site shop.

Hi Martin,

Sorry I didn’t know you had to post an advert to respond to a wanted ad. I got inundated with replies.
Am I ok to post an advert, not sure if my account is suspended or not?

Best wishes
Stewart
