TD5 - Fuel Filter
Anyone else had this issue,

When I order a fuel filter I get one which should have the water in filter warning switch fitted, of which my 90 dosent have one!

Its a ball ache every time as the drain valve is too small to plug the hole, should i just buy the switch to solve the hassel! Or is there another filter for a TD5 which I should be getting?

When I get a fuel filter, I always have got the one I require. Did not even know that the filters them self were different, just assumed they would be. So can't understand why I have always got the correct one as nobody has ever asked which I require. I like you don't have water sensor.

All td5 fuel filters are the same wether with sensor or drain bung, the drain bung is avalible seprate once you have just swap it over when its time for a filter change

Thanks for the info, just had a look at the parts and there is a drain off that fits on the bottom, you would have thought it would come with the filter!

The drain is part number YXJ500060NAA and costs £4.34 a genuine filter is £37.84 for that price you would expect it to come with it!

Ive put a stainless bolt and a rubber washer on it for this year.
