steering box setup
My dad has got his reconned unit, and needs to know how to set the drop arm up, as they have removed it.
Is there a certain way this goes on? and how you find you that the steering box is central. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

There is a slot in drop arm and a hole in the steering box to accept a stud/pin to align. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Not all boxes have the centring bolt feature. If yours doesn't have , you have to find the centre position by counting the number of rotations of the input from lock-to-lock and then going to the halfway point.
