A Bit of Lockdown Maiden
A bit of a laugh for the end of the day.

Been a fan since 1982 and seen them numerous times, I know some of you will appreciate it so I thought that I would share.

Oh, and there is a Land Rover Thumbs Up

I only discovered them in my first year of high school in 87, when one of my best friends introduced me to Heavy Metal.

Needless to say, it took some getting used to, but my introduction was 7th Son, still my favourite to this day!

Seventh Son of Seventh Son, my favourite Maiden live year.

Saw them at Donington Monsters of Rock (8Cool then in October at Hammersmith Odeon on the Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and W.A.S.P on the Tuesday = Ears were ringing until the end of the weekend.

Still have Steve Harris's West Ham wristband and my ticket from the front row at Hammersmith Odeon from the Somewhere in Time tour. The Legacy of the Beast tour last year was a blinder...Loved the Trooper Eddy on stage....

Will take a look, love a bit of Maiden. Growing up my walls were plastered in every conceivable Eddie poster. As for which song, so hard to choose. Aces High, Flight of Icarus, Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, Somewhere in Time, Run to the Hills, ROTAM, Powerslave, etc etc. Utterly brilliant. Like many here, I was hoping to see them for the first time in 30 years in Lyon or Milan this year. Gutted. Big Cry Monsieur Le Grenadier
