It’s a scoop which would feed the heater air blower on LHD. Little bit of air around the foot well if nothing else.

But yes it wasn’t cheap 😬 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Been on to ebay to look at blanking plate but it shows fitted to nearside wing in photos.
Is it able to be flipped over to fit Right hand wing or is there a specific blanking plate for Drivers side?

Yes, it's just a flat plate and so will fit on either side. There's a bit more detail about fitting it here:

Speak to the people that sold you the snorkel (nakatenenga I presume?)

They do a conversion kit for fitting the snorkel to a LHD vehicle. They sold me the wing vent separately.

Hi Roy, looking at your air intake it looks like you have the nakatanenga wintop air intake, inc ss snow cowl, fitted. Is this fitted to the std airbox ? Also have you had any water ingress in heavy rain etc.

I have one fitted to a nugget stuff airbox, so far it’s been good in heavy rain etc but wondered what others experiences have been with the Nak wingtop air intake.
