Not having much luck
I've not long had a new clutch. I tow quite alot, had about 2ton on the other day and going up some fairly steep hills I could smell clutch. Also there's an occasional rattle which goes when you depress the clutch. This was all done under warranty and the land rover is a 110 2010 with 26500 miles on the clock.

Also yesterday and today it won't start on touch when it's warm. Then today it started on third crank, I then drove off and then it conked out.

Any thoughts????

I thought release bearing. Problem is I know what my dealer is like and unless it's doing it all the time they'll do nothing. Was going to wait for it to go then they can have it on a lorry and give me a proper land rover with a tow bar and not the usual Mazda 3 they give me.

I know but I like the sales manager there he's pretty good. Last time it broke they gave me a sport with a tow bar which was good.

You should be able to get a truck with a tow bar, we demand it, if they deliver one without one we send them the invoices either for lost business or for the hire of a vehicle capable of the job. They soon learnt to deliver one with a tow bar every time.
