[Free] 3" stainless tubing - build your own snorkel
We're having a clearout at work (I'm smashing up some old machines)

These Paragon quiz machines have 2x stainless tubes up each side, as part of the asthetics (and to support the chipboard cabinet)

These tubes seemed too good to scrap, and as my snorkel on the 110 is getting badly rusted, I thought I'd see what was what...

Well, my original snorkel is 2.5" and if I pull the air pipe off the bottom, I can feel a difference (increase, slighly) in performance.

And most of these pipes have a slight bend in them... I offered one up and its exactly the same bend as defender windscreen to vertical through the top of the wing.

There are 3x nutserts in each pipe. one is 340mm from the inside of the bend, the other 2 are 200mm from the bend, but you may be able to cut around this or just weld them up, or use them for mounting brackets.

Anyway, There's probably about a 10 of the angled tubes, and 2x lengths of straight, all about 1800mm ish in length.

And if you have the mantec plastic snorkel top, it fits on PERFECTLY! Cool

Once powder coated they'd look good

Free if any use to anyone. They're in Swindon.

I'll grab one of them off you if it's going spare - could do with making a bigger snorkel at some point. If there's more going spare it's the same bore as my other projects exhaust as well Whistle

I'm not far from you - Malmesbury way so collection should be easy enough Smile

I'll grab a couple if it's OK - wouldn't want to be greedy and rob anyone else of their share Smile

Let me know when you are about and I'll call round...

OK, I'll stuff a few in the van tonight.

Do you want the straight pieces as well?
