Washer pump size or grommet
Has anyone got a screen wash pump at hand ( one that fits a TD5 not sure what else it may fit ) that they could measure for me. What I need to know is the OD of the bit that fits into the grommet in the washer reservoir or the ID of the grommet if you have one of those.

Thanks

Keith

Is it possible you could measure the ID of the grommet as I think it is the same one.

And a freelander washer pump fits straight in! slightly taller than the Td5 one, but (in my case) pumps a helluva lot better than the cr@ppy pump I had in place before.

I use a Disco 2 headlamp washer pump for my screenwasher, and a Rover 25 headlamp washer pump, which is essentially the same, for the headlamp washers.

Both are much more powerful and shift much more fluid than the standard screen washer pump.

I also use a discovery headlight washer pump. Coupled with a bigger internal diameter pipe (10mm) and a CSI washer jet nozzle. It’s incredible.

Although I did have to power the new washer pump with a relay as it draws about 17Amps 😬 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Both my pumps have their own relay.
