what is the use of this wire on 90 td5 of 2004

hello, by installing a speaker I stumbled upon this disconnected wire, which can tell me what it is for

That's the aerial for the key fob and is supposed to be disconnected. Many have extended it up the A post to increase the range of the fob. Darren
