It will have to be as good and as cheap as this otherwise JLR are wasting their time

There's another thread on the forum about how Suzuki are going to have to stop selling the Jimny as a passenger car due to their overall vehicle range fuel efficiency numbers. The world has gone mad!

Nearly as cheap would be fine - people will still pay extra for the LR badge.
But because they will throw all sorts of electronic crap on it, they will charge 50% more.

Those renderings look very similar to the full sized Ford Bronco concept vehicle from a few years back.

JLR might be able to make a smaller vehicle but they will never be able to make a cheaper one in the vein of the Freelander 1 that will boost much needed sales.

JLR are no doubt waiting for the Bronco and baby Bronco to appear in the next few months to see how much of a mistake that they have made. Both of which are to take on Jeep Wrangler and Renegade.

Spotted that Jimny. It appears to be white with an orange wrap - quite nice indeed. Did you take that pic at Mhor84?

Yes, back in November last year at the pre-drive meet up of the SGRC, we often meet there for a Sunday morning breakfast.
Also visit them when I’m taking the 90 up to LixToll Motors for annual TLC and MOT. They have a good chippy and a bread shop in Callander as well as their 5* country house hotel up beyond Balquidder Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
