Door card grab handle clip
Annoyingly the clips that come with the front door grab handles are beyond useless.
Does anyone know of the part number? Or is there a better way to fix the puma front door grab handles.
They go into a square hole in the door. I’ve thought about securing a bit on the reverse side, but before I remove the door card, is there a cunning fixing that works better.

Cheers

What is the problem you have exactly? If it is the white plugs pulling out then it’s possible that the screw that goes through the handle is too small therefore not opening up the splay enough. Hold my beer and watch this!

For starters... One clip is broken. Big Cry
The screw is long enough, but when splayed out it is still too small so pulled out with a decent tug.

New plugs and new screws then. Get genuine ones to ensure they are the correct size. I replaced mine with pattern parts once and needed a larger diameter screw to get it to hold properly. Went back to genuine when they wore out anyway and not had any bother since. Hold my beer and watch this!

Might try another set of genuine ones if there isn’t a better trick.
Don’t suppose you know the part number?

Clips arrived. Ebay version. Just a touch too big as you can see in the image. Could possibly trim them a bit but at the moment there is no chance they’ll go in the door frame.
I’ll stop by the LR service centre tomorrow and see if they have any lying about in a tub.

The square hole is tiny. Could be an idea though as it’ll be far more permanent.
If I can’t get a few clips tomorrow I’ll pop the door card off and stick a nut behind.

Turns out the part number is MWC1950
I had to buy a bag of 10 for £11.40... Shocked

Still door handle is now on and secure.

If anyone ever needs one just ask.
