Popping speakers at high volume.
Hello all!

Ive had my car audio setup done in my car for a couple of years and for the most part it works fine. However when i want to crank it i get popping on the beat from a speaker or two before i quickly try and turn it down asap. Turning the volume or the bass down heals it.

I thought i would finally do something about it and was wonedring if any of you car audio people could help.

Set up is:
Alpine head unit, cant remember the number off my head but its one of the first bluetooth ones that came out. With 2 pre outs.

The 2 pre outs are plugged into an

Alpine PMX-F640 amp 4x50w RMS @4ohm which drives

2 x Alpine SPG 10c2's up front 45w RMS

2 x Alpine SPG 13CS Components at the back 65W rms

Then the pre out from the amp goes to an alpine active sub which has no issues.

I have the gain on the amp for the rear speakers set to nominal and on the fronts down a touch.

How do i fix my pops? I dont mind changing something if it can resolve it eg new amp or speakers which can handle more power but when i purchased it all i thought it would be fairly evenly matched. Im assuming its either the amp clipping or the speakers cant take the power but how do i find out which.
