[For Sale] Disco 1 - Engine + Gearbox (must take whole vehic

Hi all,

Due to a house move later in the year, and my other half wanting the garden to look less like a scrap yard, I need to get rid of a Disco 1 from my back garden. I almost have the engine + gearbox out, but was scuppered by rain late last year (I'm working on grass).

The engine + gearbox were working very well when the vehicle was taken off the road. I've got no reason to expect that they wouldn't work perfectly well when put in to a new vehicle. The vehicle has just over 177k on it, but this engine is not the engine on the V5, so I would imagine that it has less miles on it than that.

If you'd like to take these then you must take the whole vehicle.

I have all ancillaries for the engine. You're welcome to come and have a look.

Given that the vehicle has been sitting for a while, it'll probably need towing out from its current position (the wheels have sunk in to the grass a bit).

Asking a meagre £150 (no offers). £50 of this will be donated to this site.

Anyone who has looked at eBay for the price of these items will no that this price is ridiculously low. I'd rather it goes to someone who's going to use it rather than trying to make a profit by putting it straight on eBay.

So, to reiterate, you'd need to be able to tow the vehicle from its current position (towing from the rear of the vehicle), on to the road, and then you'll need a car transporter to take it away (or some other means). I live in a cul-de-sac, so no issues with passing traffic.

Pick up from 7 miles South West of Norwich.

Hi Jimmy thank you for you’re quick response, unfortunately I’m going to have to bow out due to logistics I have tried to sort something this afternoon but have just had a message from a mate and he wouldn’t be able to do it in the timescale due to work, I’m sure that it’s going to be snapped up very quickly

Hi Matt - it's an R380. 5 speed manual. I'll try and find the gearbox number tomorrow.
