TD5 MAF failing
No top end a lack power on hills and intermitant not accelerator respond but not every time

Had fuel pump and low presser problems in its history, pump OK 4 bar fuel presser

New MAF two year ago, maybe power supply problem plug in and go for test drive no loss of MAF output BUT still lack power and not accelerator respond

stop removed MAF looks OK but smell bunt Question refit MAF check out put at 750 rpm 55 KG -hr 1.90 v Idea lets work it and see if it holdup 10 min driving re-check out put at 750 rpm 40 - 30 KG-hr max out put driving 230 kg-hr and top of the unit hot

cut long story short fit replacement MAF full power and accelerator respond Exclamation

Was that a genuine or aftermarket MAF sensor?

I've always stuck with genuine because they are supposed to be more reliable than aftermarket Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Are you using a K&N type filter? If so perhaps a little less dust trapping oil?

Also geniune can fail. Shocked Sometimes the fail completely i.e. no reaction on on different air flows but sometimes like yours just give lower values then they should. Like yours. The problem with that is that is happens over a longer time so you don't directely notice it till it gets real bad. Roel
