No, I saw my first one on the M1 yesterday and at first thought it was a weird Disco then realised what it was, yuck!

I was expecting a much wider split on this poll.

If I was Land Rover I would take that as a good job done from a poll result from this forum so early on in its release.

What figures were you seeing?

It's 38/61 on 73 votes at present which is not a high result in favour, but maybe a low score is better for volume of sales? Thumbs Up

I agree with Grenadier. I like it for what it is, not what it’s trying to be.

Yep for 40% showing in favour on this forum so early on I think is really good I was expecting more like 20% in favour. I’d be very satisfied if I was on the design team. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

It’s -1 from me as I accidentally voted yes on it.
I don’t doubt it’s capability but it’s the image I don’t like.
It’s not rugged enough.
Too akin to Evokes etc and of course what puts a lot of people off is the desertion of where it’s been made and the phenomenal price tag. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

I wonder if we have a ‘Brexit’ issue here, with the question maybe not being the right one. (Not wishing to second guess the OP’s thoughts). Clearly some people will like the new Defender (so tick yes in the poll), but if they were asked ‘Do you like the New Defender, see it as a suitable and appropriate replacement to the current Puma and would consider buying one’ they might vote differently. Especially if instead of the second option being a straight ‘no’, the forum was asked, ‘or do you see the New Defender as actually a replacement to the Discovery and LR has not yet produced a suitable enough replacement to the Puma to convince me buying one’. There are many cars in the market that I ‘like’. But would I actually want one/buy one, no. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....
