Wiper wheelbox repacement
Just starting to replace the drviers wiper wheel box for the 2nd time in about a year and have dismantled everything to the stage where I need to extract the wheel box from the bulkhead .... Then found a First Four article on how to do the job.

The interesting thing is that in their pictures they seem to have the wheel boxes upside down compared to how they were fitted on my td5. I've only ever changed the driver wheel box, never touched the passenger one so put the new one in the same way round as the passenger one.

My ones have the 2 M8 studs and nuts at the bottom along with the drive cable. All the Famous 4 piccies have the the studs and worm droves at the top

Anyone done this recently on a 2004 ish TD5 ?

A Santa - 1977 Series 3 - new chassis, tub, disc brakes,SU Carb
Gertie - 1999 110 TD5 - like a Phoenix from the ashes back on road... almost
Effie - 2004 110 TD5 County

I found this thread - wheel boxes with the cable at the bottom. I have just done this on mine recently and the cable was at the top. Different for ages of vehicle maybe? 1989 90 4.3 V8

Up to 2002 - drive cable at the top

From 2002 - drive cable at the bottom.

The wheelboxes are different too, as is the gear in the motor. So ensure you order the right parts.
