these are great for day and night wildlife watching and recording . if anyone wants to try them before buying ,no problem |

Tempted by some thing like this would maybe be a good security thing around our farm if any thief's set off a alarm the thermal imaging would be good to see if they are running through fields or hiding anywhere

I didn't think these were thermal, or indeed passive but rather feature an active infrared torch which illuminates where you point the binos. If so, there may be a telltale red lamp visible in the opposite direction. Anyone else with similar tech will also be able to see your beam, which will pinpoint your position.
Passive thermal would be so much better in your scenario. |

Very hard to pick out in the dark if at all, even if you did you would not know what it was. thermal yes good but 3 times the cost. |

On one of my shoots the farmer uses a pair to check on stock at night. |
