Best wiring routing from behind dash to the cubby box
As per topic really....

Have previously routed in some RCA cables for my amplifier from the dash to the cubby box by running through the grommet behind the rev counter, and then down over the front edge of the bulkhead, along the chassis, and in via a grommet i added in the bottom of the cubby box.

This results in a mess of wiring!!

Anyone found a sensible routing for cables staying inside the vehicle?

I was looking at the mud-stuff A-pillar trims, that would get me up in to the headlining, but i've then got to get down through the B-pillar, and that doesn't look too great either.....

Any ideas appreciated. Thumbs Up

I've run a cable out of the cubby and then under the carpet on the right side of the trans tunnel toward the foot well, past the handbrake, where it emerges under the dash and straight up into the centre area of the dash. It's dead neat, no holes except the one to get the cable out of the cubby. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I've done the same as Bluest, mine is a TD5 so it runs behind the fuse box cover and up to the dash with the main loom. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop

As bluest said. The mud extended A pillar trims are great but they have their limits even. There’s no way you could fit a whole loom down.
On a Puma there is access each side of the trans, between there and handbrake is the most and a void the the left and up from the clutch pedal in a RHD.

It should all high under matting. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
