I once had a 6.2 GMC 100” (& a 6.5 GMC RRC) and it sounded great! I bought it off a friend, we were using it as a chase car on the Scottish Hill Rally and I loved how much grunt it had, I had to buy it!

a tuned td5 would be more impressive nowadays, a lot lighter too!

I used to have a 6.2 GMC in a 130 double cab, and a 5.7 GMC in a Range Rover classic both as company cars, complete with fuel card. The 130 used to eat auto boxes but the RR was nice and a manual.
