Anyone had any dealings with Advance Pitstop servicing a Defender. Their site says they have diagnostics for all makes of cars. Will fit original parts if requested but generally use non genuine to manufacturers spec or so the site says. If you put your reg. number into their search engine and follow on it will give you a cost of service for your car. I put in mine (08 Puma) and I got €75 for a basic service and €250 for a full service. Under EEC law you don't have to use a main dealer and the warranty will still stand provided the service is carried out to manufacturer's spec. Advance Pitstop say they will do this and stamp your book accordingly. Can't be any worse than some of the inept maindealers we hear about. Still if I was going I find out what oil they were using. The site says you can phone if you have any special requirements i.e. like a broken mirror or light and they will order it in and fit it during the service. Came across this as it seems I am in some group scheme discount thing through work. Anyway thought I would put it up. Would be interested to see any comments whether good or bad regarding this. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
