Wheel arch eyebrow
Hi Chaps,

Doing a load of fixes at the moment.

My TD5 has the rubber style wheel arch eyebrows. The front drivers one has "collapsed" inwards, the other 3 are fine. I am hoping to find some tips on how to straighten it. When off roading the wheel someitmes snags on the part of the arch that has collapsed inwards

Anyone know how to straighten these ?

The pic probably shows it best. First pic is the front one that needs sorting, the second is how all the others look.

Mine from the factory were perfectly flat.
I found after painting they or one I should say had collapsed somewhat.
I don’t know if it’s due to flat storage or by sanding pressure, although I don’t sand like Thor and crush it down.
I guess it’s a curiosity of semi rigid plastics, it should keep its shape though but they don’t. Unless production quality has gone downhill. It wouldn’t surprise me. Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

Yep, thats what I am thinking. Then might try and cut a piece of plastic to the right size (from the council recycling box) and use solvent weld (plumbing glue) to fix in place behind arch.

Can’t think of much else that can be done
