2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 CSW Montalcino Red

Instrument cluster

A slightly embarrassing question to ask but I have noticed that on the Puma 2.2 display there is a rectangular panel at the bottom directly in front of the driver and another rectangular but smaller panel at the bottom of the
tachometer. As yet I have seen no lights appear in either of these. Could it be that LR have raided a parts bin for another model and they have no use, or am I missing something? 2015 90 XS Station Wagon Puma 2.2

2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Montalcino Red

D3/RRS1/Freelander 2 style instrument pack, but not the same thing.

The middle rectangle has two warning lamps on the 2.2 relating to the DPF system. It's empty on the 2.4.
