2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
Off Roading Morning, Mid Devon 2 nov 19, title change dates
A big thank you to the forum members that joined us last Saturday for our off road morning at David Bowyers Off Road Course.

here: https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic65822.html

The next two Saturday mornings will take place on 30 March 19 and 20 Apr 19.

These mornings are designed for people with some off road experience who just want to get out and use their vehicles. We meet at the pub around 0900hrs with a 0930hrs departure for the short convoy trip to the site post the safety brief.

Its approx. 2.5 hrs off roading followed by back to the pub for lunch. Priced at £25 per vehicle for the off roading + your lunch.

Fancy being in LR0 and a get away for the Easter Saturday? We have a team down from LRO to cover the 20 Apr event. For the none LR owners, don’t worry another journalist is also attending that weekend for the non green oval pictures in a sister publication!

These will be the last two events at the £25 per vehicle introductory price.

Booking forms available from info@4x4adventures.co.uk

We are limiting the event to 9 vehicles and will work on a first come first served basis. I have one booking for the 30 March.

A short clip to give you an idea of the course:  Cheers

James

2 Nov 19 Off Road and Social Morning
we have our final driving morning of the year at David Bowyers Off Road site coming up on the 2 Nov 19. There are a few places left at £40 per vehicle. 0900 meet for coffee, 0930 briefing followed by convoy drive around the site, all sections are options, 1200-1230 finish and return to the pub. ideal for a Defender with wade sections, side slopes, ascents, rocky parts, descents and mud and rut driving. any questions just ask, plenty of forum members have been in the past and had a great time. Even a few none LRs attempt it!

It was all fine actually we manage to find somewhere tucked down out of the wind in between some small Hawthorne's really sheltered, hardly any rain overnight the Rain came later on today as we were clearing site. Nice and slippery for everyone down on the driving course.
