No A bars after 08 registration 2008 - onwards.
Bizarrely winch capable A bars are fully legal though up to present.
Hence why most now are winch capable A bars and similar as standard.

Can't see the difference anyway, you could get hit by a HGV or tractor and it's no different at all.
Just another one of those things manipulated regs and laws etc etc to make every bodies lives more dull.
Soon you'll need a licence to cross the road or open your front gate. Rolling Eyes Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️
