Bathurst 2019
Yes, it's that time of the year again for us Aussie Supercar fans.
The teams will be starting to arrive at the Mountain as we speak, probably hit the track for the first time on Thursday, then continual practice, set up, testing, quali, "Top Ten Shootout", then the race on Sunday, with 26 650+HP V8s thundering around the Mountain for 1000klms.
Great coverage on Foxtel from Thursday onwards.
I know a few of you guys watch, but I'm not sure how much coverage you get.
Sunday race day starts for me with a "Pre Race Big Breakfast" cooked by Wifey, fried eggs, fried bread, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried potatoes etc!!!
Pickles.

Lol,..yes it is, but it's only a "once a yearer"!
Actually my cholesterol is ok at the moment, it's 4.9, but I do take Lipitor which is favorite cholestorol medication in Aussie!

good stuff pickles! The british touring cars season is coming to an end, we have one more around at brands hatch and that's it until next year. 3 way fight for the title this year, So its going to be a close one. One of them may not be on the grid next year, with his sponsor pulling out of motorsport. Another one has just got a contract for two years, that was only due to him getting his finger out this year by the looks of it Laughing The lad who is leading it won it last year, so I think he is wanting to bag a 4th. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Bone question so apologies, but is there an easy way we can get coverage of this in the UK?

Hi VVS

The full season of the Australian Supercars are on BT Sport. - Great coverage and no adverts plus you get two races. One for Saturday and Sunday.

Much better racing than F1. The cars are much closer and the cars don't fall apart after some hefty hits.

Looking forward to Bathurst.....

You can pick up a couple of races on YouTube, the cars are unreal!! you do get some good drama with the drivers too, if they have a clash against each other too. Laughing Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Bathurst is looking good. I've just finished my "Bathurst Big Breakfast",..fried eggs, bacon, tomatoes, fried bread etc.
2.5 hrs to go & looks like a ripper day with no rain.
Scotty, as Chaz said, "smoked us" in top ten shootout, but who will win?...wouldn't have a clue, but if I had to make a tip, I'd choose a 888 Red Bull car.
