Td5 fuel flowing during filter change
Hello everyone , i’ve changed many a fuel filter on my td5’s in the past , but during today’s change of filter , once the filter was removed , engine not running , I have fuel coming thru , not had this before , I also noticed during the last trip , on re-start she cranked over for several seconds before start up , is there a one way valve somewhere that could be shot ? Cheers

done lots of reading , the fuel flow may be just because my tank is above the chassis now , so its just gravity doing its work

When I did mine, I had the same thing, and even the 306 weeps a little too. So it could be how the common rail pumps are at when the system is powered off. I know it can be funny to restart if you have been playing about with it. My 306 is very fussy, I start that too early and i get a whine from the system sadly. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
