2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black

Garmin BC30 wireless camera

I'm looking at installing a camera in my Ifor Williams horse trailer to keep a watchful eye on the horses. I currently have a Garmin Nuvi sat nav and like the idea of having just one screen in the cab of the Defender and using the BC30 would achieve this. However I know there are lots of cheaper alternatives but that means employing another screen in addition to the sat nav, something which I prefer not to do.

The first question is - is anyone using a Garmin BC30 camera and if so how do you find the picture quality?

Second question - are there any alternatives that members can suggest, bearing in mind it must be wireless? Defender 90XS SW

Hi
I have the BC30 fitted to my Discovery 3 and the picture quality is very good. Only issue I have is that sometimes, in the rain, I get big drops on the lens. Having said thatI have fitted the camera to the back bumper so I get what I deserve.

I have the BC30 and it's great for me.
I have the lines set so I know how close I can park to the car behind and still open the rear door.
it was also relatively easy to install, tapped off the reversing light

I also fitted the SVX mount a few months back so the screen is more secure. Cheers,

i use a gopro camera to my ipad to keep an eye on our horse, i also have the Garmin system on my defender and its great
