I can put you in touch with a company in Cornwall who are leading experts on drones and the owner would be more than happy to chat all things drone with you if that would help Thumbs Up Being a sewage diver at least I know how deep the 💩 will be at work today.

Just need to be aware of the regs and from next month all drones and pilots need to be registered with caa. https://dronesafe.uk/drone-code/

Main regs are:

No flights within 150m of built up areas.
Minimum 50m from anyone, including vehicles and buildings , not under your control
Drone must be kept in line of sight of pilot (goggles and fpv only allowed with an observer maintaining line of sight).
Avoid flight restriction zone around airports.
Max height of 400ft.

Also to avoid any trespass issues it's best to obtain the landowners permission for take off.

I use the DJI Phantom 4 very very easy to use with 4K, obstacle avoidance, tracking and return to home feature etc
Only gripe is the size the Mavic is a bit smaller and also very good. 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Very pleased with my mavic air. Easy to fly with most features of the bigger DJI drones but much smaller. Chose this to take out on my motorbike or even walking. Range is reduced but with new line of sight laws this is not a problem. It takes stunning 4k video and great photos. I chose the fly more pack which comes with 3 batteries which each last about 20 minutes.

I can highly recommend any of the DJI models.
I've had the pleasure of playing with a lot of DJI models for work and they're so easy to fly.
You can pick them up second hand for a bargain as people always buy the best, then use them for a few hours. Get bored and sell on.

Hi there!

I usually use a Mavic Pro for my trips (and for work also).
Not too expensive like inspire but more sturdy and long range compared with Mavic AIR
Good piece of equipment: Very stable with wind and quite portable.

Cheers Eduardo

If you want a little project you can have a go at building one with all the gps functions and the advantage that if/when the rules come in ( they are delayed at the moment) you will fly in the home built category.
