Thinking of selling the enduro bike and crossing over to a hardtail. The enduro bike is awesome, but I’m not riding it any where it’s capabilities these days due to my own incapability! What should I be looking at for a modern hardtail for a grand, guessing second hand will get me the best value for money?

People are a bit behind the times if they think £1000 is expensive for a decent hardtail, even a second hand one |

Thanks all. I’ve checked singletrack and there is plenty in there. Steel seems to be the way a lot are going for a do it all hardtail, so something like an Orange P7 looks to fit the bill? Instagram @richmond_custom |

Carbon used to be the new go to frame, but most people are going away from carbon as if it takes a knock it's done for. (This could be a load of mythical bull poo) Depends where you're riding I suppose. |
