Nice, hope you all cleaned the salty sand off the trucks afterward.
Was this a private organized event, or was it put together by the Belgian JLR importer? Wonder if the police from Knokke-Heist joined in with their Defender, but thinking of it, they might still be busy pulling that tractor backward on their own beach.

We had a great day out at the beach. 285 Defenders and Series.
And we were allowed to drive 4 kilometres along the water line. Really fantastic experience. Event was very well organised by Land Rover Owners Club Belgium. Will post some pictures when back home, still enjoying the weekend here  Peter,

Above was 2015...... Now 4 years later...... We were at the beach in Knokke-Heist last week again and the local police clearly had a change of heart since their Defender experience. See below.

Looks like a cracking day out. And 285 vehicles, what a turn out. That level of variety and individuality will never be seen with the new Defender. Talking of which, i wonder if anyone will have the balls to turn up to an event like this? Or even understand the purpose of an event like this, cool urbanite as they are likely to be

Good order sake. That event was back in 2015.....
At which time the police in Knokke were still patrolling the beach with a Defender (not always on tow by a tractor). But now today 4 years later, no more Defender for that job, but a Jeep Rubicon. And no tractor in sight.
