Our holiday in Cornwall

Ok, so was spotted on the way to Cornwall 👍

We had a good laugh reading the comments. The first week given we were camping by the coast was incredibly windy....we arrived just as they cancelled a big music concert in the area 😲

Our tent survived but it was gale force !! The Sankey trailer towed superbly, very very solid. Nose down slightly with the bikes weighing down the front.

We lived 'off grid' for two weeks with a 120w folding solar and 110 leisure battery.

Around 1000 miles and average 26 mpg with car full and trailer 👍

Lovely part of the world and in always manage to find somewhere new to explore no matter how often we go back.

My plan for next year is to do cornwall and area.

I assume you just found some land off the road to camp? I thought you may get a disgruntled farmer.

😄 we stayed in campsites.

The last one near St Ives was 10min walk to beach for bodybording 😄

With hot showers / shop and the facilities they have were handy. Wood fire pizzas and fish & chip trucks came on site.

Yes the Gardens were lovely and so to was the new bridge, with the gap...

Driving back took 6.30hrs leaving at 9am from close to St Ives. Didn't think too bad, great run.
