Travelled up thursday just gone and spent the night at Loch Oich, moves over to Skye the second day and stayed at Glenbrittoe Campsite. Then over to Loch Ness and stayed there. Drove down south and spent the night in Kirkby Stephen on way home.

907 miles in total and the 110 was faultless.

Great few days going places I’ve never been

Really great photos, what track were those shots taken on? (Planning to take a trip up there next year.)

that's from the last day, we stayed in Kirkby Stephen on the way back and this lane takes you to near Dent so it essentially cut out 3 motorway junctions for us, but took 3 hours Rolling with laughter

Glad you enjoyed the trip.

I find it quite sad, and a testament to how many miles I've trundled around the Highlands that I knew instantly, at a glance, where pics 2-4, 7-10, and 12 were taken. Even fairly non-descript bits of tarmac become recognisable. Shocked

Surprised though that I can't quite place pic 6 - the beach and headland. The landscape suggests Skye, but I'm not sure - the beach at Glenbrittle?? (Edit to say DOH! you actually said Glenbrittle - should learn to read as well as just looking at the pictures!) Donald
