looking for 110 rally suspension set-up
Goodmorning everyone,
I got the idea that I would like to have a rally trim on my 110 puma.
What I would like to achieve with this arrangement is the ability to absorb even pronounced speed bumps and be able to carry a good load.
I imagine a set-up like the one used in paris / dakar race.
Does anyone already have an asset like that?
do you have any kit to recommend me?
thank you!

I'm no expert in this but suspect you may need more than new shocks and wheel spacers to get a 110 to handle in the same way?

good luck Thumbs Up

surely speaking to the likes of Bowler, et al who have the background and experience of this type of modification would be the first step??

Those trophy trucks are great over the bumps and in the air, but they have comedy handling on tarmac, three wheeling around corners. See video I would suggest such a set up is not ideal if you aren't leaping off dunes at top speed all day.

impossible without very serious modifications; you would need to aprox. double the length of the dampers...

easier and cheaper to just buy a bowler bulldog (which just looks like a defender but has a space frame in order to get the required setup)

I still want to see the full video of that Bulldog jump. It gets some serious air but the video I saw cuts off just as it lands, so can't really see it it landed safely? James
