My 1990 110 200TDI SW Portofino Red
I took this photo today and realised I've never got round to giving my 200TDI it's own thread.

United Kingdom 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Orkney Grey
I purchased Old Red (as she's become affectionately known) back in October 2017 from forum member Seriesonenut. Shes a 1990 early 200 Tdi with around 185k miles on the clock. She's been really well looked after and is pretty solid, full of character and so much fun to drive, completely different to the Puma (which I still love!). Other than adding a front middle seat, wing chequer plate and a few mechanical bits I've not done much with her.

A bit of a spontaneous buy, I wasn't really looking for a second and makes no sense having two 110 SW, but when I saw it I just had to have it. It's very similar to my father's second Defender and came from the same dealer Mann Egerton in Ipswich (the original owners lives about 10 miles away). Some photos...

Day of collection (22/10/17) had to treat the family to lunch as compensation.

After a short break tucked up in the barn, I thought it was about time she stretched her legs.

I have to say I really do enjoy driving her. Did several trips to the dump as she's the best load lugger with no seats in the back. Spotted a stranded TD5 on the side of the road so stopped to help change a tyre. My extra bulk did the trick and soon got them going again.

Rear hub seal started leaking and she has a small leak in the coolant system and MOT next month, so time to spend some money on her! James

Ah, stubble fields.

I just love them, and miss walking through them after harvest.

A friend said that I only bought my last Defender because the eBay pics were of it in a stubble field!
