warning lights after MOT
Hi
Wonder if you can offer any advice please on a couple of faults after my MOT today. Passed with no advisories but on the way home two warning lights came on, the first being the traction control light and the other the engine management light. The Defender (2010 tdci 2.4 xs usw) ran fine apart from the lights.

A mate with a reader found the following

PWM signal failure from engine ECU & P2136-64 Throttle body position sensor switch A/B voltage.

The only other thing which was done today was a brake fluid bleed and change before the MOT.

A run round the block tonight has seen the TC warning light go out as normal on start up but the EM light is still on.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks 2010 XS USW

Hi
just wondering by chance if there anyone is in the near CM9 area with an obd code reader who might be able to re set my Engine management warning light?

Booked into the garage next week but I am wondering if my wire waggling (which seems to have put out the TC light) might have resolved the situation.Need to confirm via a reset

They may possibly have been checking wiring is secure, and in the process disturbed some if there was a loose connnetciin or plug somewhere.
I would check those like mentioned above, and similar. Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

Yes that's might thought too. I think I need a reset even if I have 'fixed'the wiring connector. 2010 XS USW
