This might sound like a sill question... but without taking my wheel off and counting, how do I know whether I have a 48 or 36 spline column?

I read something on here (yesterday I think) that said it depended not only on the year but also the variant (i.e. SW, Utility DPU etc...)

FYI, I have a 2016 110 SW.

It's almost certainly a 48 spline wheel but the only way to be sure is to take the wheel off and count them.

Take the centre cap off the steering wheel off and count the splines using a pointy tipped tool, or a cocktail stick or something > 110 XS Double Cab

You need to undo the nut too (19mm), as it hides the top of the splines. Darren

You'll need to confirm that the boss is compatible with your DSC type column as well as the number of splines.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

It is indeed! That was a 'rush job' done at stupid o-clock in the morning the day before the show! She'd been in to the garage for some warranty work and was delivered back Thursday afternoon as the set-up was Saturday. I managed to fit in a full decontamination wash, machine polish, ceramic coating and other prep-work before Saturday morning (including a full day at work ha-ha!).

Dolly proved very popular and was photographed more times than the Ferrari parked opposite Thumbs Up
