I am in need of some welded steel rings to prevent flag pole guy lines getting a braided. These used to be available through a large DIY chain but are no longer available. Trawling the interweb these rings are used on various marine and agricultural fixings but come with a 2" square plate attached which are not needed and expensive scrap.

Try these in stainless, they have a breaking load of 1.6 tonne.

we stock these where i work.
any good hardware store should be able to supply. 50mm/2" welded ring if you cant find localy give me a shout and we can sort something out steve 110 xs s/wagon s3 swb soft top |

I have spent twenty hours searching and could only find the rings attached to a plate visited more so called hardware shops without success, I give members of the forum eight hours and have a number of suggestions.
DISCOMOG...……..A bit heavy duty but ideal. BLACKWOLF...…… I would need them gold plated for that price. V8STEVE...………… You have a pm. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off.
