brilliant and thanks for sharing with us.

I don't suppose you have a picture of marked up map showing general route taken do you?

I did draw the route very approximately (a straight line between each days start and end point) onto my Michelin map. I’ll try and take a photo later if that’s what you want. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Takes me back to 2017 and our 130. Was a great family holiday and we’d do it again in a flash.

Morocco was just as special. Make sure you do that one too Thumbs Up 1951 80" S1 2.0

I'd assumed it was very much running along the peaks of the Pyrenees / the French/Spain border - probably a daft thought ?

I may have to get stuck into some serious research. your photos are inspiring. looks like one of those vibration road books. If you can recall and get time I'd love to see some more detail on locations for each of the photos Cool

thanks again for the info. Thumbs Up

It’s the Vibraction RB5, loved using the book and will be doing more of them further south into Spain I think. We have some Friends in Valencia, so I am going to string a couple Vibraction books together to get down there next year.

The first third of this route, starting from the east, you are very much in the high Pyrenees, although you can’t drive the very highest peaks I don’t think. I know we were up over 2000m on a couple of occasions. As you go west the route moves south away from the big mountains into plains and gorges, which are different but still beautiful. There is one last go at the high hills in the West as you cross the range south to north from Bardenas to St Jean Pied de Port.

The pictures taken on our phones are gps tagged so I’ll have a look for some decent ones later and put a little in to where they were taken 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

thank you very much.

off to St Jean Pied de Port later in the year heading to Pamplona (on my bike tho)

Drove from Bardenas area a few years ago to Laude in France.

Depending on your proposed route but you might want to consider going through the Picos de Europa if it's practical - lovely area.

Thumbs Up
