SUB IN THE CUBBY
So i was wondering about the practicalities of installing a decent sized sub woofer in the cubby box.. and then I just went and did it!

Prob not a great idea to stick you phone in there next to the magnet anymore Laughing but still, most of the rubbish I keep in the box has been there for ever. Massive bass is much more important than spare fuses and what not anyway. Cool

Had this old 400watt sub kicking around, stuck that in the box and bought a nifty little mono amp from kenwood which I fixed to the side and in front of of the rear passenger fold up seat.

Couple of (not great) pics.

I've got a Pioneer HU in the front powering some Focal speakers and I can confirm the sound is totally awesome!

You even get a nice breeze on your arm from the cubby lid when you've got it cranked up! Laughing

If anyone is really interested I'll stick few more pics up, details and what not when I've tidied up my cabling. Smile

Love that wind! Have a 1000w juice sub box behind the drivers seat. Love to put my hand down and feel the base. Agree sub + focals all round is a great sound! 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance
