Green TD5 130 Quadtech. Does anyone know this vehicle?
Hi everyone.

Does anyone know this Defender 130?

I'm going to have another go at selling my 300Tdi Disco 2, and would love to replace it with a 130 (if I can persuade my wife to let me spend money when we're saving for a house!!)

I have swapped emails with a friendly chap called George at the dealership, and the reason for my query here is that it is a 3 owner vehicle with just 28k miles. MOT history online verifies the mileage, so it looks like 1 or both private owners since the Environment Agency didn't keep it long. Why I wonder? Is there something wrong with the vehicle, or perhaps a 130 turned out not to suit their needs...

Can anyone shed any light please?

Thanks.

They are not that easy to keep compared to a 110 or 90. Turning circle is poo, more running costs as they like a drink and the rear seats are poor. If you have a reason for one then the prefect vehicle but I can see why some turn a 130 over soon after buying.

Thanks, I do wonder if that is the reason.

Someone went to the trouble of fitting the awning and a roof box with solar, so it looks like it was intended to be a camping / touring truck.

Perhaps it was swapped for something comfy and boring like a Land Cruiser Amazon Laughing Laughing
