another strange starting problem
unlock the car with the remote put the ignition on and all the dash lights come on fuel pump runs but when I turn the key to start the car nothing happens, let the car roll back 2-3 feet and it starts as normal, this has happened twice I have checked all the earths and the relays under the seat, any ideas. nobody is perfect but being Scottish is a start

Try a positive feed from battery direct to starter motor spade terminal, to check if starter motor or wiring

Take the starter out, clean it and put new contacts in the soloniod. Also clean de inside off the starter gearbox and put new grease there. It will run a lot better. Roel

hopefully got it fixed, the starter wire on the solenoid was a loose fit and grubby, cleaned the terminal on the starter and put a new crimp on and it has been ok since, what i dont get is why when i let it roll back it would start. nobody is perfect but being Scottish is a start
