2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black

Which oil filter?

My 2.4 Puma engine was replaced and the new unit uses a later style cartridge oil filter. I want to do an oil change but can't make out the markings on the filter.

Do I need a specific filter or can I use the 2.2 type and if so what do folks recommend?

If it is the spin on type this would be it

Yes the new engine uses a spin on filter. I’m hoping the type Land Rover use for the 2.2 will be OK for my 2.4. Is there any reason this may not be the case?

There is only one type of spin on metal filter listed so that should be it. I use Mahle filters and there is a Mahle spin on type listed on the advanced Factor site. https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/lr104384...8843-p.asp
