Gotta love Sainsburys
Wallace was in need of some Diesel, so we went off to J. S. . Now it just so happens that it is Ramadan, and Rapeseed oil is only £4 per 5 ltrs, and we happened to have a "6p off a litre of fuel with a £20 spend" voucher, So what better way, that to save money buying fuel, to save money buying ⛽️. Bought 8 x 5ltr tubs and saved £8. Then in car park I put 2 in Wallace (10 ltrs) saving £5, then filled up with Dino @ 6p off, saving a further £2.82. Thereby saving almost £8 on my fill up . Next week we have a similar voucher, and Ramadan last until June. 😜 'Volvo XC 70, taking the rough with the smooth’

I'm sure he meant he was drinking it, not putting it in his vehicle....

Sainsbury's always discount their cooking oil during Ramadan , £1 off 5 ltrs, as presumably folks do a lot of cooking at sunset. Same every year , good time to stock up. You can use rapeseed oil, without registering, just keep a basic tally of what you use ( ish) . Your are allowed 2500 ltrs per person in a household, so that means 5000 ltrs for me. 'Volvo XC 70, taking the rough with the smooth’

I stand to be corrected but I believe you're allowed to make / use 2,500 ltrs of bio-diesel. rapeseed oil is not bio-diesel and HRMRC lay down what the requirements are for bio-diesel.

Thumbs Up
