Whilst Reading this forum and the internet so far a found 3 options. Any ideas on them and how much to put in the tire?
1. Dyna Beads (small ones) 2. Dyna Beads. (Large ones) 3. Counteract beads I’ve got zu rims with General Grabber AT2 tires. Size 265/75/16. Tires and rims are very difficult to balance so i want to try this option. To exclude the steering damper i’ll change that as well with an ome one (they seem to be the favoriet on this forum) a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover |

Thanks for posting this. I'll probably try them again soon.
I haven't researched them at all recently, but I do know I'll want ones that aren't too small, so they can't get stuck in the inflation valve. I'll watch the opinions with interest. Yeah read the Dyna Beads and counteract site and their reviews on internet. That’s why i want to have a Go. The small Dyna Beads come with a different valve to keep out the little beads. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

On the forum the Dyna Beads seem the favorite. The counteract Beads are american. So i wondered if anyone are using them. Also i can’t find an opinion on the small vs large Dyna Beads. a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover

I am running small size dynabeads in my tyres for the last month or so and very impressed so far. I have 6oz in each tyre and just put them in using the applicator bottle through the valve stem.

Which size of tires do you have? And Steve how many oz did you use Steve? Ps the small ones are a lot easier to apply so glad to hear this a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover |

I'm using the ones from Devon 4x4 - which were £6 a pack vs. £18 a pack for Dynabeads... I split the bead and poured them in...
Once they are in the tyres they all do the same job - if you were to order a bulk pack of Airsoft plastic BB pellets and carefully weigh them to the prescribed amount and pour them in the tyre they apparently work just as well.. |

TDI4 - There is a chart on the Dynabeads web site. Which tells you the appropriate weight to tyre size. I can’t remember the amount now but it was for 255/85/R16 in my case.
Jonny - Trouble is with plastic is they’d wear down to a rather nasty dust. I looked it up at one time, all seems well at first but it’s the longevity that’s the issue. I'm running BFG KM2 in 255/85x16 and as the tyres are now about half-worn, maybe 50k miles, I've found I need 12 to 14 ounces per tyre. I increased the payload from 8oz as the tyres wore. . I use the small Dynabeads.
Overall I think that the Dynabeads are fantastic and will certainly bung a load in my next set. |
