Brilliant pictures Roy Thumbs Up

2 snow cowls yes, primarily for symmetry for me. My second one is also an air intake, long term plan is to ditch the side vent Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

That would have been my next question. I've seen others move the side vent. Does it improve anything or just for style.

Looks good btw.

Definitely improves the performance of the heater, as you're not drawing the incoming air over all of the water that sits in the standard duct it demists quicker. Also stops general crud going in there Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Thanks to you all for coming down to the chippy today.
Always lovely to have the landies down.
Hopefully you all enjoyed lunch, and hopefully see you all soon
Sorry too busy to get out to look at the landies, however bank holiday weekends are
always a bit of a push.

Cheers again, and big thanks to Simon, nice to meet you too Wyvern.

JMG Thumbs Up

I have a 4” internal diameter pipe that leads to the drivers side cowl which is now my engine intake. Breathes much better and purrs away nicely. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html
