Hi guys,
As in the title, I have a 110sw 300tdi car, and one of the larger plastic tanks (Td5?). I need to replace the fuel filler pipe and hose/tube as it's leaking somewhere at the tank end; and pretty corroded and manky at the filler end. This is what I currently have: Click image to enlarge This is the parts diagram (I think). Click image to enlarge If I'm interpreting it properly it looks a lot more complex than I'd imagined. I was expecting to have to buy part no 1 plus the tubes, clips and seals - but not part no 5. which looks like some sort of insert.... Do I need this, or is it an optional something? If I do need it, is there anything tricky to fitting it? Special tools or Special powers to do 'superawkward' stuff? Many thanks Donald 1994 Defender 300Tdi 110 SW - owned since 2002 - 230k miles and going strong (The 'rolling restoration' or tinkering thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic58538.html ) 2000 Range Rover P38 4.0L V8 in the past.. Part no.5 is basically a built-in funnel and is entirely optional. I think they were standard in Series days (I remember my old Stage 1 having one), but fell out of fashion many years ago. Probably because we don't do so much filling up from cans anymore. Darren
