Blue sea 12v sockets changed supplier? Now poor quality!
Have blue sea changed there supplier of 12v sockets? As the ones I just purchased are no where near the quality of the old ones.

Bought some blue sea 12v sockets some 18 months 2 years back and were really great quality. Came to add some extra ones in and as I have purchased poor quality but very cheap from eBay before decided to go for the blue sea ones again. I was gutted to find these are now identical to the cheap under £2 delivered Chinese eBay jobs just with a blue sea name on the cover. No where near the quality of the old ones. Plugging a male socket it’s now loose really disappointed :cry:Decided not to use them for now and will look for other options.

Wondering if relates to any of there other items. Don’t mind paying for quality as long as I get it.

Will say unlikely as both the first set and second came from the same reputable supplier.

I bought some less than a year ago and quality was their usual high standard.

Bought one from Brendan a while back. Seemed decent to me.

I'll check mine tomorrow as I have just installed 2, one bought a few weeks ago and one probably 18months ago. Both from the same reputable dealer. By the same I mean the 2 I bought came from the same dealer at different times, but maybe not the same dealer as you. Mike

The original ones I purchased were threaded only half way where as the new ones are fully threaded.
