Rear wash/wipe on 300Tdi not working...
Went to clean rear window on my 300Tdi on way home yesterday and the wash-wipe no longer works.
I've checked and also changed the fuse (no.3 according to the manual?) - and still no joy.

Do any of you experts out there have any (polite) suggestions ?? Bow down

Thanks. Just checked that. All looks ok..
But I now notice that the reversing light is not working either....

Does anyone know if the rear wiper/washer and reverse light are linked in any way (apart from the fact they are both at the back of the Landrover that is!)
Tried another bulb in reverse light and still no joy - so it’s not the bulb.....

Likely to be the earth connection somewhere, the right hand lamps and the rear wiper motor share the same earth path.

Does your rear washer pump work though?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

And the reverse light is on left hand side. Not the right.
All of the other rear lights work fine.....

Thanks all for the replies. Have cleaned earth points and have good news and bad...

Light issue is sorted. Rear wash wipe still a bit hit and miss. Sometimes works. Sometimes doesn’t.

Faulty switch maybe??
